In August, Jonas and I spent a few glorious days in the country of Costa Rica. It was heavenly.
I have always wanted to go to Costa Rica and as soon as Jetblue started flying there, I knew we had to go. My sister took care of the kids for us which was so nice and the kids of course had a blast with cousins!
Before heading to our resort, we stopped by the temple in San Jose.
It was beautiful.
This is the resort where we stayed. It is called Villa Sol in Playa Hermosa.
We pretty much spent all of our time at the resort since it was all inclusive and there was plenty to do there. There were several pools and restaurants and all was included.
It was delicious food and plenty of it!
One day we did do a day trip and we went ziplining--which is something I have always wanted to do! I was amazing and so exhilirating!
Another Day we went on a little boat ride and went snorkeling which was very cool too!

It was so gorgeous there and they took such good care of us, it was hard to leave! But we were so grateful that we got to take this trip. With having the new baby, who knows how long it will be before we can take another getaway just the two of us. It was some much needed time alone and we will never forget it.
That is so awesome...so glad you had a chance to get away! All parents need a refresher like that now and again!
