Sometime's it's just nice to get away. And some friends are worth seeing, even if you have to travel north in the dead of winter. It was a nice visit to see Leah and her family in Idaho.
The boys played and had a great time (on the computer). They normally play outside a lot but of course it was much too cold for that. I think they may have attempted a couple times.
The girls had a great time together also, here they are dancing away.
And the little boys are getting much better at enjoying each other's company too!
Josh, Leah's husband was nice enough to watch the kids a couple of times for some much needed "girl time". The first time we went to Leah's doctor's appointment for the cute little baby on the way (yay!) and then we went and got yummy soup and sandwiches at Great Harvest. The second time we went to this nifty place called Chiz's. It was so interesting, so you walk in and there is just a U shaped counter (think counter at a diner) and that's it. And there is one waitress in the middle that serves everyone, plus takes to go orders by phone. And then you just stand there and wait until a seat opens up and you can sit at the counter.
funny huh? It was great, and I love spending time with Leah.
