Winter Palooza Fun Outing

I decided to let the kids have the entire day at this event because there was so much to do.  Well, almost all day.  In the morning we took our turn cleaning the church with another family.  It was the perfect incentive for working hard, and they did a good job helping.  It's not fun to clean the church, but it is good to take ownership of the buildings that you love.

Okay then came the fun!!  I feel like lately I have been such a lame mom, not taking my kids anywhere like I used to.  So it was actually really fun for me to block out this WHOLE day to let them just play.  The only bummer was that I was hoping a friend would come with, but no one was available.  We watched reptile shows, made arts and crafts and these cool bracelets, played video games, got hair bling, did a giant obstacle course, and on and on.  Papa Duck was able to come for the morning, but then he had to go to work.

The other cool thing is that this was the first big outing where it felt like Squish could participate just as much as the others.  Even though my other kids wouldn't have been able to at the age of two.  But this guy is a thrill seeker and he is not afraid of, well anything.  It took a little persistance but he finally did get that he needed to wait in line in order to go back in the bouncy thing.  Here he is so proud of himself for waiting, isn't he cute?

Another thing that they loved was riding these fun little cars.  They were there for like an hour!

Another happy note is that I was able to get free tickets to this event thanks to my wonderful readers of My Kids' Eye View.  yay!
